FactMaster: About: Database

Access up to 40 years of performance histories for thousands of market indexes, mutual funds and other investment products. Data covers all sectors of the capital markets including economic indicators, domestic equities, domestic fixed income, cash equivalents, hard assets (real estate, metals, commodities, etc.), international equities and international fixed income. Most data series are monthly total returns extending back to 1960 or the inception date.

This is a complete database. There are no additional modules to buy - you get everything you need, right from the start.

MARKET INDEXES
The database of Market Indexes covers over 1,000 domestic and international market indexes. You get the full history on almost every widely recognized market index that is published.

Market indexes are tracked for the equity, fixed income, cash equivalents and all other market sectors. Global and country-specific data covers the U.S., as well as full data on 20 developed countries, and 25 emerging markets.

The extensive database of market indexes is compiled quarterly by Frontier Analytics from about 75 highly reliable data sources.

MUTUAL FUNDS
The Mutual Fund Returns database that is included with FactMaster covers all NASDAQ-listed mutual funds and fund investment category averages. There are over 10,000 mutual funds and 49 fund investment category averages! Every fund from A to Z can be researched.

Mutual funds are grouped and listed alphabetically. Both U.S. and international mutual funds are covered. The returns data for each mutual fund are monthly total returns extending back to 1960 or the inception date.

The database of mutual funds is supplied by Morningstar, a premier provider of mutual fund information to the investment industry.

IMPORT/EXPORT DATA
FactMaster provides you with the flexibility to add your own data to the Historical Returns Database. You can also export the returns data to your own spreadsheet program for further analysis.

Import money manager, portfolio, or any other historical returns not found in the Historical Returns Database. The data is stored in a User-Specified Database of unlimited length. To add data, simply 'paste' returns from the Windows Clipboard, or the returns can be hand-entered.

Export up to 10 data series at a time from the Historical Returns Database. The data is placed on the Windows Clipboard in spreadsheet format complete with a data header. Simply press the 'copy' button in FactMaster to export the selected return series.
